The Outpatient Treatment Program in the Center
Our Outpatient Treatment Program is an intensive treatment that is structured to fit for your day. We are unlike other IOP programs offered at other centers, which make you choose between morning and night.
We understand that even that might not be flexible enough for people. What we created is a schedule of treatment that offers outpatient care all day. You can submit your schedule, and you will be given a block of three hours per day that we feel will be most reasonable for you.
What will happen is you will get your schedule, and you will confirm that it works for you, but if it doesn’t it’s okay too. You can still come in anytime, just look at our rolling schedule and make sure one of your classes is starting soon!
Our Outpatient Treatment provides you with all the skills of normal inpatient treatment but in a different environment. It is perfect for clients who need to maintain a job and have not completely lost control. If you are not sure which one you need, we can help you make an educated design. You can also switch between the two programs if one isn’t working for you.
A typical day of Outpatient Treatment begins with a standard drug test. We do the drug test to keep you accountable and sober. We know this angers some people, but it is the only way to ensure you are following our policies.
We then split up into two groups during the day if the class is too big. People go around the room and talk about their day. They can mention if there were any triggers or if anything was uncomfortable for them. This is a time when the therapist stays, and it’s for the class to talk to each other.
After this hour in the outpatient group, we have speakers and therapists give a daily lesson. In this session, you will learn many new skills.
You learn things like:
- Breaking the cycle of alcohol and drug use
- How to cope with cravings
- How to tell friends you can’t use anymore
- Finding new friends
- What addiction is
- What causes addiction
- How to eat healthily
- How to stay out of trouble
Our Outpatient Treatment is truly one of a kind, and we want to share it with you. We accept all insurance and want to be as accessible as possible. If you want us to answer any questions you have about this treatment, please don’t hesitate.
